Thank you for this gift of Love to bathe my poor battle weary soul. It has uplifted me in my time of need to know that somewhere in this cosmos there is my other half and that together we can weather whatever storm comes our way.
I appreciate the use of the elements to describe how two beings come together to form a complete entity. I see this coming together on many different levels from the mundane to the spiritual.
I understand you viewpoint of Christmas being over commercialized, and even if we ourselves are not children we can use our inner child's eyes to see the wonder and magic of the season. We must also remember that the commercialized version of Christmas and it's traditions is made up from pieces of different religions and beliefs of many cultures.
For Christians Christmas is about the Christ. For those that don't believe in the Christ it has different names and celebrations.
