add some twist melanie--predictable short stories get too predictable. the story is o.k otherwise but what's new, what if carly (is that her name) were to calll reid and he said--hey lucy don't keep me hanging. or may be reid discovered he was a homo or some such thing. well it's ur story though. best of luck.

hi. its pedantic lament, poetry shd have some symbolism, metapphors. you can use free verse though. are u a school kid, well then its o.k becasue you have a life ahead.
