I loved it.

I specially loved how I didn't read that it was a lyric but when I stared to read it I completely thought this sounds like a song to me.

I would like to know how it ends with another verse, maybe they finally go on that date and have a wonderful experience.

Maybe they will stop being strangers.

I like your writing.
But I didn't get what was the relationship between the title and the text. Make it more dangerous, like someone close to getting injured.
