Wow! I'm not one for politics but found your poem very good. I greatly enjoyed the flow and how the poem progressed and got more intense the more I read.
You didn't use fancy words and I also liked that. The reading was very smooth and the structure was spot on.

I liked the intent behind your poem and your flow. However, I struggled a bit with the vocabulary and would have loved less complicated words (this is just my opinion and I'm not good with fancy words) :)

I think that the overall outline is interesting, from the birth of the bird until its death.
However, it could have benefited from additional emotions in the beginning.
You are doing a very good job at describing the events but I would have loved to get a better sense of the environment. What are the smells? How does it feel like for the young bird, etc.
