I like the idea of a poem as a self-introduction and greeting to the community. Clever, quippy--about writing to a bunch of writers who will appreciate it.

I like the maze/amaze rhyme/pun--followed by ablaze to keep the rhyme alive. (though I question the comma that two words before ablaze.

I agree that sometimes the versifying of an idea takes it places you wouldn't have gone otherwise.
