Excellently written. I love how you repeat the line "listen to the silence" It gives it a. . .it makes the statement afterward so much more. It gives it strength and somehow in its own way it provides more imaginary to the poem. I also love how it carries its own voice. The power and sheer emotion that was laid into it. Bravo!

Love it. Shows how something so seemly 'innocent' turns into something needed. The feel of it is amazing. The words ring with his need for her and her love. His desperation. I don't know if it's what you intended but it seems like she's having second thoughts about them?
