Hi Susan,

That was one of the best stories I have read on this site, and I am not joking. And the only one so far, where I did not get tempted to scroll down to the end to find out what happens. Everything flows smoothly, and this is an enjoyable read.

Negatives ? Only two I can think of - One is the title of the piece - it seems not in place, because he does not save his reputation with his life.

Second, I was looking for a twist at the end, like finding out that the killer was his Mom, for example, or maybe the ratty little guy, or even the attorney or the guys at the bus stop. I guess my fascination for horror fiction lead me to look for a twist.

Great story !

Good short story, some what in the O'Henry tradition. Easy to read, good style. May be a little work was needed on the clarity - What kind of Celebrity Jonathan was would need to be explained, would add more punch to the story and enable the reader to identify with the personality, and the end needs maybe a slight twist, I don't know.... I enjoyed reading it though
