This was truly amazing. It made me think of many things as I read it. I felt hurt, sadness, triumph, anger, and fear. It brought me from the beginning to the end already knowing the outcome. At the end, I think one thing rang true for me and the battles that I face everyday in my life, and that one thing is: You never know what you got until it is gone. I think of this everyday because sometimes the battle just isn't worth fighting because you could lose more than you gain.
I really enjoyed this writing. It moved me because I can really relate to it. It was very well written. I felt like I was actually there on the battle field fighting. To be able to give a reader that kind of experience is a truly amazing gift of writing. I applaud you. I can't wait to read more of your writings.
