Well what can i say?
this was an excellent piece of literature and i hope that you write a sequence to this story! i thought the idea of the druids and there animal forms a good idea and your description of the legionaries were good too.
You have left me with a taste for more!

Ps:
Though legionaires were typically swordsmen while Hoplites where spear men. The roman (assuming your legionares are roman) term for general is "Dux", but these facts really do not take anything away from your great piece.
