This story is off to a pretty good start, although the main character doesn't have a lot of backstory. There isnt much of an emotional tie between the reader and Rabble. I like your descriptions of the desert environment, i can imagine it would be a hard one to describe. The plot has a lot of different directions it could take and i am eager to see where it goes. Keep it up!
