This was a very cute story about fairies but you might want to go through and take out the words that aren't necessary to the story. An example would be the Fairy King telling the guard to watch the fairy family then the description of what he found and again repeated to the Fairy King what was found. Also, you might want to go through and make sure that the spellings of certain words are correct and you are using the right one, for instance the word Then and Than. But I have to say that I quite enjoyed the ending of your story with all the Fairies helping out the poor family. I hope my suggestions are helpful to you and I hope you keep on writing.
