I usually wonder about the same thing, if everyone was born for a reason, then what reason were murderers, killers, suicide bombers born and mosquitoes born for. This is a really good poem, amazing the way you wrote it. I like how you begin each line with "forgive me father."

Love's evil twin? Ah, having never experienced love (excluding my parent's and my grandparent's that is. crushes i had, but that doesn't count as love?) I agree, love is blind. People look at the face, the figure, and count it as love. What they don't get that it's not love but physical attraction. This is a really good description.

Ironically, i did think of once running away from home when i was young, but i was too afraid to go out alone. I don't usually read prose, but title attracted me to it, and i must say this is a really good piece of work. It's very vivid, i can actually feel what the little boy's going through, poor thing. A good piece of work.

Wow, this is a truly amazing. So, in this you've viewed night as a women and day as a man, as i can tell by the last line of the poem? I don't know why you have four stars as an over all average rating, because this a very beautiful poem. The imagery is beautiful and it's very vivid. I wish i could write like this.
