The first four line are my favorite, I love the color description- it made me want to paint it.
The third section was a tad off and I wasn't too fond of the word choice, I think if you took it out, it wouldn't really take away from the subject matter.
Also! I'm not sure if you did this intentionally, but you started at the top and worked your way descriptively down to the roots and I LOVED that about it.
Do you intend to write one about the other seasons? I would like to read them, if so.
