It was a nice piece. It reminded me of my own childhood. I have a small suggestion, and it is always up to the author to decide whether or not it seems right for them. As I was reading your piece I was wondering who these individuals who were doing these things were. A pairing of lines describing these partners in adventure within the poem itself could have helped. I really appreciated your poem because my brother and I did many of the same things you describe here, and they are still some of my best memories.
