I was intrigued by your post spacecat; it took me back down memory lane and I remembered when I had a tooth ache and how I just wanted the pain to end even if it meant cutting off my head caring less about the people that I would hurt and leave behind, but the pain was so unbearable. Also your post made me sad because it reminded me of my wife’s family, she has suffered 12 heart attacks and 7 strokes over a 10 year period of the 20 years we have been married. As of 2010 she suffered a heart attack and stroke at the same time and doctors in the E.R. told me she had only 72hrs. to live, she was on life support for a month some of her family showed up during the 72hr. period and other family did not show up until a month later well after the 72hr. period. Now she has not walked since Nov.2010 to this day and her family rarely visits or calls. My wife pretends she does not mind but I see the discus in her eyes that her only daughter and her blood sister’s rarely call to check on her or ask to prepare a meal.
Now at end of your post I find it intriguing also because I was looking for the light at the end of this tunnel but there was none. Here is part of a quote towards the end “what you think now, when my heart was beating you couldn't care less, cold as I sound the suffering is over” and that’s where I expected a happy ending and none came to that being and the last words are “it’s too late though I’m done with you all.”
