Haha I love it!

I think the dismal and analytical personality for cats fits them like a glove in my experiences with them. Maybe it’s just my inner Disney kid but I found myself hoping the story was leading to the cat having the job to comfort the “grumpy human” when the “little humans” left or that they shared that role for eachother as the cat gets older and prepares for death.

Regardless it made me smile and I think that’s all a story needs is to make you feel something.
