This was an interesting read for me. As someone that attended church my throughout my entire youth, I found the subject matter at the beginning really pulled me in. I was a little bit lost when you started talking about bible study as I really believed that the piece was more about the every-increasing problem of the lack of full-time clergy in some parishes. As it turned out, it was more about a message from God to attend a specific church. It was still an interesting piece but it was definitely not what I was expecting after the first sentence.
Loved this story! Very short stories are often unclear and muddled (at least to me). This was very 'to the point' and the imagery was very vivid. Awesome job!
Well, writing is supposed to evoke strong emotions and I'm certain that your subject matter will do just that! I love the flow and structure of the piece and the reader is left with a very clear picture of your feelings on the matter at hand! Nicely done!
