This poem is brilliant in a lot of ways. The difference in stanza length works in keeping the reader engaged while the topic of the poem is deep and sincere. I like how the poem begins with an issue and ends with a resolution that is learned by the narrator. Great job!
I love your use of language in this poem. I like how you are taking an abstract idea and relating it to things one wouldn't obviously think of, it peaks interest and keeps the reader reading on. This poem both is both hopeful and regretful simultaneously, showing the intense passion and frustration that can come out of love. Great work!
