If it was for me, if it was for you,

then care it would be,

its a circle that around its edge we live,

love, trust and stuff we forgive.



The truth never tells a lie or asks why,

it comes around like a known friend,

but sometimes it has to say goodbye.

fickle minds that laugh at its wisdom

always lie and are left to cry.



Where always time it will bring out,

truth comes a coming with a loud shout,

its an element of life that stands us up,

to help us drink from a lovers cup .. Circa 2013
