It brings me dismay that to this new day, I still cannot find a poem with a rhyme scheme!
Not exactly a new subject, darkness and all that. But this is some OK writing. If it had a rhyme scheme and it was a bit more original, maybe longer, I would rate it higher.

You did pretty damn good. Though I cannot say I am the best judge there is considering that every time I do get "scared" the Litany of Fear runs through my head and I calm back down; I just don't really feel fear. But your writing is excellent, keep it up! I honestly don't know what to criticize; horror isn't really my cup of tea.
