I very much enjoyed the story. I did notice a run on sentence or two but that may have been intentional. I know you were probably trying to keep it simple but I would have elaborated more on the good stuff Calvin does and less on the annoying things. Maybe I am wrong but it felt at the beginning that the story was going to be one about love for the dog and in the end it was but I guess I just felt like it took a turn on me. Overall though I thought it was clever and well written. Thank you for sharing your story.
