How you give out the details. You give enough detail without swamping the reader or breaking your pace. You give the Names of places and people in a way that tells us what they are without making the explanation separate. This is very effective for keeping the reader 'in' the story while giving her information.
The way you plotted out the crime and solution. It was a well thought out mystery. You put all of the elements of a good mystery in a short story. It took me back to my youth when I'd read the "Ellery Queen Mystery Magazine" antholgies my mom used to buy
Suggestions / Errors
I think you give out too many of the clues. You sort of 'telegraphed' the ending to the reader. You might consider withholding something or being a little more obtuse. You need to keep the reader a little unsure of the solution so that they don't stop reading as soon as they figure it out.
