hi there meg!
I'm from sydney, australia, and although i do live in the city least water-wise, i do empathise with the drought and the water-shortage problem.
All natural occurences aside, i did enjoy your poem very much. It is nice to see a nice flowing poem that depicts the start of what is hopefully going to be a fantastic year of '07.
