Simple poem but so very true. I'm sure every teenager and parent can relate to this. Nice prose and rhyming scheme, and I love the fact that you wrote it when you were younger and added the answer when you matured. Wonderful!
Wonderful! I wasn't quite sure which fairytale it was until the end, and it was a very nice twist to it. Quite vicious. I think the old storytellers would have been proud; they loved the gruesome things. The placement of some of the periods made reading it a bit awkward, but thats my only complaint.
I really, really enjoy this. Its simple, but very powerful. I'm sure there are a lot of people who are thinking the same things your poem talks about. Nice rhyming scheme. Keep writing!
