Absolutely brilliant!!! I really can not fault this story in any way shape or form. I adore the way that both characters had a rather sad story to tell in their life, Scuzzy with his parents dieing at a young age, and Ramona being in a physically abusive relationship, yet even with this, you were still able to make this an enjoyable and very witty read. It really brought the characters to life, and the fact that he got his in the end is fantastic, I like the way that the plot was thought out and detailed throughout. I a so greatful that writers like you are on here to inspire others, really enjoyed it, thank you so much

Hi Honest Fox, I really enjoyed reading The Season of Slumber. It was extremely thought provoking, and as a parent myself I could imagine my children with the drawing in their hand, and me asking a similar question, the answer that the child gave really did blow me away, as it is not something that I have ever thought about before, but is of course totally true, thank you for your piece of writing.
