I, too, lost someone years ago during the holiday season. My sincere sympathy.
The poem is heartfelt but doesn't flow as easily as it could. However, I enjoyed it very much :).

Very well written. My condolences if this is based on fact.
My older sister, Helen, died suddenly of a heart attack one day at work. No one had time to say good-bye to here but at least she didn't suffer.

The story holds my interest till the end but the spelling (Wall-mart for Walmart), grammar, length need work.
Our grandson, 11, whom we've had since age 3, is blind and has cerebral palsy. Both of his retina's detached, were reattached, then detached again---nearly three years ago. So~I already had an interest in the story :)!
Hope everything works out okay for your sisters.
