I felt every word of this. I had a beautiful friend who had it all, beauty, money, friends, a successful women in many ways.
But she lacked something in her life, something she always wanted so badly... She looked for it in different places. When she was so lonely she drank, and the drinking took some of that beauty away. When she finally did find that one true love of her life and looked forward to the days they would sit in their rocking chairs overlooking the lake and share good memories, It all suddenly one day was gone. She took that last drink and got behind the wheel of her car and was killed in a car crash.... no one else was hurt.... physcially. The lady who hit her has to live with the memory of the accident and her two granddaughters who were with her have the final memory of Grandma reaching out her arm to hold them back. Her Lover, has the memory of the good times with her.... and I her lost part of myself that day also.
I lost my Best Friend. Thank you for this story.... I will save it forever.
