Beautiful. The only thing missing... may be more! Your story left me feeling like I was trying to hold onto a handful of cold, dry sand with icy fingers, but I didn't know why. Breathless and unreasonable, your story forced me to look at James and search for something deep within him, to wonder what drives him to such physical misery. Most of all, it made me reflect on the pummeling many of us inflict on ourselves to dull the aches of everyday life. Cudos!
