I really liked the way that this all flowed together and in such few words was able to shift and move my emotions. I love the format of four verses with four lines a piece. Is this something that you intentionally followed?

I liked this poem it was a neat little twist.....
Personally to make it more interesting for the reader I would lengthen it...
Even giving a little more of background information since you mentioned "his mother's" castle wall. I'm sure people would be interested in his background considering that most of a certain age have heard of Humpty Dumpty!!

First of all I love this poem because it really hits home. I was raised in my Grandmothers house! I am 30 yrs old and she has since passed, but I miss her dearly still... "The moonflowers we watched opening quickly at dusk,
The dark green leaves of the strong spearmint we loved to chew on" we had both also...
As far as the poem itself I love the set up and format. Was that something you learned or came up with on your own?
