This little bit of fiction was an interesting read. The 'fan' language was certainly something I have yet seen in a work-- it works for the most part. I don't want to be too particular about things, but I believe "treaty" would be a better word choice than "contract" in the beginning. That may interfere with your clever little ending however, so I suppose that's a minor detail. Mostly it is well written. It could use a little polish, but grammatically speaking it seems fine. Enjoy'd it.
