This is a very sad poem. All too often though things do occur such as this that you have written about. At first I was thinking that she died inside but towards the end I see diff. I wish you well throughout your journey in life.

Seems as though this was written for my 14 year old daughter! She goes through the same things time and again. The world or well society places such high expectations on people that sometimes we get caught up in the myth of it all. You are a very strong person for keepin on keepin on! I love that and I enjoyed reading thanks!

I feel your pain with what you are going through but also the great love from a mother to her child as well. My son like yours has learning disabilities that I won't go into simply because this is about YOU and YOUR son! I enjoyed reading your work and how you felt/feel. I would however run back through it and make some corrections as far as the endings on some of the words, other than that its great and thanks for sharing!
