My father once showed me a poem of his like this, of a long remembered romance of his, how thing's didn't work out with it, and this was like that. Having a special place in your heart for someone. Hello Dreamin1, I liked your poem, something nice came out of a sad affair; believe me I know what that's like. I like the questions you pose in it, but obviously choosing in love is difficult. What you mentioned, about what is in your own heart, I believe you understand that, and really thats the most important thing. For me, love is taking that very chance, on getting my heart ripped out again. It hurts, its insane or, it can be insane, but I have to chance it, everytime. Tim.
Nice poem, its so quiet in its message thats sorely needs to be fairly-well screamed in this crazy world. Sadly, education comes slowly, and will always revert back to crude and ignorant hateful behaviors and opinions. You've done good, though, to push back that tide for a moment, and its caught in time forever now, with it.
