I really love the simplicity you used to show such meaningful tragedy. It made me immeediatly think of all the natural disasters recently and how detramental they were to everyone. You really captured the distress, hoplessness, and loss. I think it is an excellent poem. :)
This is an excellent story! I really enjoyed reading it. From the beginning it was clear Justin was off, just not how off. I think The Lighter was a very nice little detail that kept me wondering. I had suspected that the Lighter was "Rex" but your ending was much more interesting. You really made Justin out to be a real Psycopath.
