It looks like a neat idea to pursue. I hope you continue to thrive for as long as possible.
I'm not sure how you tell if it's active or not. But I do like the idea of it. I'm not sure if I
I was ever admitted to joining one. I looked at one that involved quotes. Seemed easy enough,
I need to keep trying I guess.

I think these campfires are a bit more communal than an interactive. These are pretty neat.
The ones I see seem to be well thought out. I think that's really kind of cool.
Anyone can add to it, as long as you're invited into it. I hope this does well.
And that you keep it going as long as you are able.

There's just something about these digital holiday signatures. They're so festive and well designed. I don't know how else to say it. I think whoever designed this did a job well done. It's so in the spirit of autumn and Halloween all at once. Hope you have a great Halloween!

I like how you used phantom of the opera. My parents have phantom of the opera music. So, it's kind of funny. I know you're also kind of new so I thought I'd say welcome. I hope you continue to be inspired and keep on writing. I think you captured the essence of the phantom of the opera really well.

Review of The Dialogue 500

I so want to do this. Though I KNOW THERE ARE OTHER THINGS I COULD BE WORKING ON/SKOULD, IN FACT. I read a quote from somewhere saying the worst bit of writing is better than the best piece never written. As my past with college papers proves. Hope I can do this, seems like a neat contest to be a part of. I do so like exercising my creativity.

Review of Death Bed

I think that I can connect with this on a personal level. My grandma was a Lutheran who turned catholic when she married and she was probably the one getting their butts to church. I had great respect for my grandma and I believe she did the best she was able for her kids.

Review of Poetic Canvas

I like the use of barrel, it's kind of a fun word. You don't hear it used overly much, specifically in poetry, so I applaud your use of it. It's sweet and simple, and easy to follow. It gives the reader an image of nature, and tranquility, while from a barrel.

Not bad, I did enjoy doing this. I think you did pretty well. It helps get into the spirit of things. Madlibs are wacky and there's no wrong answer so you always win. Yeah! I hope you will keep on writing. I also wish you an early Happy Halloween b/c I can.

The picture sucked me in. I think it's really sweet actually. Also, a bit sad of course. I think it really speaks to me on various levels. I think this says in words what I can't. I think there doesn't really need to be any more said. Keep writing, and welcome to the neighborhood.

That's a real interesting experience. I don't know if that could truly be counted as horror though. Maybe suspense or intrigue. But it has a ghost involved in so maybe it could be a ghost story or something along those lines. Definitely something you would remember though.

Review of The Veteran
Review by BlueMoon
Rated: E | (3.5)
My mom is a navy vet, so I feel a bit of a connection with this. You really put thought and time into your poem. It really shows. From the start this vet is one of many in the crowd. And then he sees the flag and he honors it. I'm sure from his experiences in the war, there will always be some part of the that remains in him. He values life when so many of those he knew lost theirs. I believe that's hard to do.

When you're together as a group and then lose some of your own. I don't know how you deal with that. It's something you have to learn how to cope with so it doesn't control your life. That's not something I think you can ever really separate yourself from. When the dad said he was proud of him, that hit an emotional cord with me.

I like the title to start with. It makes an interesting story from when you start out with a view and at the end there's a dead body. It's pretty organized and structured too. Always appreciated when reviewing. A little bit of sci-fi to keep things engaging. You never know what you'll get in the end. Sometimes, some pretty bizarre things can come out of it. That just gives it more mystery and makes for more twists along the way.

You think you put a lot of thought into this to make your piece a good read. I hope you are having a productive writing career in 2015. A little variety helps keep things intriguing. Sometimes a little randomness is called for. You help give the reader a picture of what they're reading. Never stop writing. Good luck in the future.

Review of Fool of Fools
Review by BlueMoon
Rated: E | (2.5)
This is actually pretty depressing. Forgive me if I make a song reference here. ''Everybody's Fool'' by Evanescence. This feels like it would fit this. I do appreciate the simplicity of this. Some things are so long and jumbled, it makes it almost painful. To me sometimes. To/review.

[indent}I appreciate how you spaced this and it's a pretty piece short too. It seems here, you were able to really grasp the feeling of isolation and people's misgivings of appearance. People can be like that sometimes. All you can do is know who you are and be confident in that. It can be challenging some days, but in the end it's making the best of your circumstances. If you can take pride in yourself then it's one more battle won. That's certainly true of nowadays.

Review of Another Dollar
Review by BlueMoon
Rated: 13+ | (3.0)
It is depressing and yet, I think, really captures depression. It can really be a trial trying to get through day- to -day when you don't feel yourself. It can feel so isolating and miserable sometimes, you don't want to get out of bed. I think this was really well written.

Review of Mirror I Swear
Review by BlueMoon

I liked this. It kept me reading till the end. Which isn't too hard with 500 words. Suspense/ horror maybe? I liked it. I hope the guy gets help, seems he could really use intervention here. But great dialogue. How you were able to keep up the dialogue was nicely done. You held my attention to the end.

Interesting enough I guess. Though it seems to insane to be real. What stress the back must be under to support those monsters. Mirage would be an interesting candidate, if not one of the most suitable. It's an intriguing, if not somewhat creepy and disturbing.

I was always curious how you were supposed to review an interactive. I guess I know now. Thanks. I'll try doing that in the future. I won't understand the obsession to expand/shrink characters. After a while, the novelty wears off I believe. But I give you credit for variety and coming up with an idea just the same.

Review of My Enemy
Review by BlueMoon
Rated: 13+ | (3.0)
I really feel a connection with this. I don't know what that says about me. I think it's true of life. That sometimes, we're our own greatest enemy. It can be scary how fast you find yourself digressing so fast. I'm not sure of the cure but it's not found by our own power. I think this is really insightful and powerful in it's right.

I like the idea of campfires. This one looks like something I'd be interested in joining.
I had a quote in mind, but I know I'd have to be invited 1st.
I like what you have going here, and I'm glad you have people
to take part in it.
I wish you luck and that you get back to me when you are able.

Review of Monster
Review by BlueMoon
Rated: 18+ | (4.0)
Okay. Well, this really got my attention. I have to say I was curious how this would turn out. It was too great a surprise. Young child is horribly disfigured and it scars her for life. Eventually, she believes she is a monster and acts on it by attacking an innocent child. Tragic. Very well written.

First off, let me say this is my first review of a religious based poem. I appreciate you taking action and taking that step. Religion tends to get people antsy and I appreciate your ability to use it effectively in your writing. I think this hopeful. It feels hopeful and a certain sense of peace as well.

WOW! I find it rather impressive how just one person can start an ongoing story.
It looked very long and that people really took time for their addition to the story.
I think it shows dedication and interest if something has so long and descriptive missives attached to it.

Just the 2nd line I noticed. Be, instead of being, may work better there. But otherwise I thought you gave feeling to it. Let the reader feel a connection if they'd been through this before. I feel I can relate to this even if not fully. I think you're moving in the right direction.

First off, I like how easy to read it is. How you managed to capture the many ways love can form and accomplish. Some high/low points that love can run into along the way. In the second stanza(?)a word's used that I'm not sure if it's a typo or not. Further along, love is duty comes up twice. Maybe intentional, I'm not sure, just thought I'd mention it. Otherwise, I really liked what you did here.
