I enjoyed the twist but I got confused towards the end when he went into 'I did this... etc.I would have tightened my wording in the first part of the story so as to have some room for the sudden jump to first person.I like the ambiguity of the invaders and the terrans,I could see humans doing this to a new race on a new planet.
