Holy crap, I love the way this was written. It's very forward, which is sometimes necessary. Why sugarcoat everything? People need to be told like it is. This piece really makes you think about your own life, and how others affect you, no, create you. At first I didn't get the addition of breakfast tacos, but after reading it again, I quite enjoyed it.
I really want to know the mindset behind this piece. What kind of person is the author? Is he/she very concerned with politics? Or do they prefer to stay out of them, hence the "Legalize everythin'". I did enjoy the very laid back approach to the syntax, however I would replace "let the people free," with "set the people free." I think that would give the line more impact and oomph.
