It's another good one! I can tell you really like writing characters with country accents. I only spotted one typo, "really" instead of "rely" in the 6th paragraph. You did well to capture the distress of Mina watching her village burn away. Imagining the scene with the townspeople hurrying to put out the fire is easy to do with your writing style.
Cool twist on the given prompt! I was able to immediately see the setting and characters come to life in my imagination. This world is dark and full of mystery, and I want more. This was a good read! When is the rest of this story going to be available?
