As promised! I feel like I'm in highschool, like meeting that person the first time in the halls and clicking and how everything else around you the people and the noise kinda of disapates. I like the feeling of this work.
Wow I felt the power in that. I also understand how the mind wanders and you think about everything without really fully being aware of it, how it kind of creeps up on us. I really love how you worded this. You know that song Killing Me Softly by the Fugees? When I read this it reminded me of that line she sings "I felt he found my letters and red each one out loud", well thats how this made me feel. Like I was reading my own words, feeling my own feeling. Thank you for sharing!
I love how discriptive this piece is. How you describe the weight of the mudd on the boots and the warmth of wearing the beanie. I feel like this would be a great piece extended. It almost feels like the final walk home like an Eternal home not so much as earthly. I love how works like this can be enterpreted so differently. I would love to read more of your work!
I like the flow of this writing. The third paragraph especially I love how you express time with drugs and closed curtains. I feel venum in the words and I mean that in a good way like you can feel the frustration in the words. I find the use of repetive words like mouth, slows down the reading or flow, but that it worked for this.
