Thank you so much for this wonderful tour of Google. I Google daily and, of course, just Google without having used all of these wonderful features. I'm still having a problem with the 'groups' section but I guess I will figure it out with enough practice.

Thanks

Oh, how you captured the beauty and rot of love in this poetry. Your poetic skill set is just splendid to the mind. I was with you through out this work, but especially here:

Like beauty from a rose.
It scorns many others
And never even knows.
It's weak and it's firm.
It's wise and it's shallow.
It's saved many lives
And sent men to the gallows.
Helen knows its started wars.
John professed it would bring peace.
Cleo read it from the stars.
Beauty found it with the beast.

The favored line of this stanza is the last. I actually had a chill run through me as I read and re-read that.

Excellent work!

Looks like Elvis is pregnant with a 'camel toe'. LOL LOL LOL. Oh my goodness! Do you know this Elvis?

Very nicely written story, however, I don't see how 'suspension-worthy' it is or how it pertains to this type of contest where writers with twisted values parade their sickness. LOL.

Good piece though,

Oh, how you evoked such emotion in me while reading this. I sure hope this is fiction, but if not, please know that you have been added to my prayer list.

God be with you,

I gave this a 4.5 rating because it is well organized and states 'your POV'. However, it ignores the main people...the point of Affirmative Action. It ignores the people that really fought and died for this rule to be passed. It has ignored the African American's plight to receive these rights. Everyone but the AA's are benefiting from Affirmative Action except for the ones that fought for it here. Do a bit more research and you will find that White females that really dont need 'extra' help breaking into specific jobs and higher ed are benefiting.

I have an African American daughter that gets nothing but we really, really need help, right now, in order to keep her in school.

Thanks for you POV, however.

This is a wonderful forum/contest that you've made here. I'll be sure to enter my story. My brother was blessed enough to have gone to Iraq twice and came home alive. All of his troops came home safe as well. I watched the scary 'shock and awe' stage of the war until I was sick.

I do have a story to enter here.

Keep up the good work.

I like this. You've got a fan in me. If you need to run your ideas or just be understood from a 'techy's POV, just email me.

Till then, good luck with your ideas and family,

Review of So Long

KittyKatt, you're angry, huh? Your poetry reflects this pain turned anger.

Keep practicing on your writing. You have the power and the drive but now must work on grammar and presentation of this craft.

Trust me, it is very hard to do when 'those' sorta thoughts flood your mind. It seems like your fingers wont type the words rushing out of your mind fast enough. They cant! The mind is much too fast for our fingers. That's why it's important to revise over and over and even then our eyes miss the errors.

Good luck!

It's amazing how you've captured such a moment with so little words. You've managed to cram meaning and sense of reality into one small time frame that left me with a vivid image, despite the lack of description of either of the three characters. This is good writing.

Thank you for the short moment,

Sugaree

Review of Clavitus' Dream

Oh my goodness! You have painted a wonderful view of Him. He has tried to show us the light, even in His darkness. Hmmm.

One small, tiny error: Always think of me when you're trying to decide."

I believe 'Me' since it's in reference to Him, should be capitalized.

You have been Sugarated!

Oh how I love the imagery here. I love your beginning. I don't think you should have changed the repetitive line, "I sit sullen; With brooding eyes, out of the window I stare." This line is like the mood of the poem. Of course the mood is changing as you progress, but I personally like the poetic line in motion.

Now this was a LMAO! for sure! I especially liked the imagery here. It was almost as if I was there next to you at Ralph's funeral. Oh my goodness! This line here, "Laura wrapped her arms around my neck and didn't let me go until she had wiped down the back of my throat with her tongue." Now that is good descriptive writing.

The format was kinda, ahh, well, you know, right? But because the story was so wild and vivacious and hilarious, I HAD to rate this a 5 anyway. The content, characters, setting and movement were all perfect. Just enough information to tell a short story. Two thumbs up.

This is absolutely great. I've been shopping and learning about web development and hosting. I think this is the one for me after viewing how the MSWord docs can be viewed.

Thank you,
