Wow! What a great story. The ending was a complete suprise. "The Attack" reminded me of a book I read called "One Second After". Everything in that work shut down, but due to an EMP blast. What a great new twist to a scary potential problem. It's scary to think of the future, one can almost feel the world is heading in that direction. This work had me glued to the screen. Great job!
My overall impression is very good. I liked it. This poem flows really well and has a great sound. That I love. My one complaint, who is the audience? Two words, cacophonous and chums, are not normally used, especially for children. It takes away from the poem because it leaves the reader struggling to understand the words. But al in all, great piece.
