The Poem Itself:

I really enjoyed reading this. The way the story had a rhythm kept it flowing smoothly. Great Job.

What I really Like:

My favorite stanzia would have to be the second one. which states.

         "Holding steady, arms wrapped tight,
         I close my eyes, and think of a light
         far away, away from here,
         a place of comfort, one without fear."

The reason I liked it was because it reminds me of myself and what I do when I feel alone or afraid. I like to imagine a fantasy and try to believe it is as real as the pain I am enduring.

Overall great work would really like to see more

wow sounds like my relationship with my girlfriend. You really hit the mark on this free verse, and it doesn't have to rhyme to sound so great.

Simple but great. It shows people that if we want something from life we have to go after it. I simply love your poetry. You should send it to a publisher. They are really that good.
