Review of Timelines
Review by Mason
Rated: E | (4.5)
You gave a very detailed list of events related to your stated topic. The events seems to be all factual as well. However, I have one complaint: you did not provide sources to back you the timing of your events. Without sources, it does decrease the credibility of your list. To paraphrase the authors of the book "The Craft of Research, Fourth Edition", not including sources hurts credibility because readers have no possible way to check if your statement is factual1. Other than this minor compliant, your list is detailed and well-organized.

This essay is well written. It provides a clear thesis for the article. Mainly that gaming could be a helpful way of learning English. You address the pros and cons of learning English with well-reasoned arguments backed by your own experiences. You give a balanced view of both the pros and cons, although you did conclude that video games could be a helpful way of learning English. Your syntax and grammar is also excellent. However, there is one thing you could improve on. You could cite more scientific studies to back your claim to make your argument and claims more persuasive and credible. To paraphrase the book The Craft of Research, Fourth Edition, an article or source without sources or bibliography is less credible because I have no way of checking whether my claims are true or not (Colomb et al. 79). But otherwise this is awesome and very well written.
