I really enjoyed this. It was simple, yet very inspiring, with a clear message. I feel that it flowed rather nicely, probably due to the meter, and the rhymes were made with ease. It is organized and nicely written. The poem effects me, because I enjoy the message so much. The last line is great, and really brought it all together.

Splendid Imagery, in a sense. It seems like a simple enough poem, but poetry is anything but simple. A scene was painted, one of despair and apathy, and it was nicely conveyed with a stormy, desolate sea, which in itself, is a powerful image. To pair that image, the poem needs to be just as powerful, through word use. I'm not one to say if you succeeded or not in providing that power though simple words, but it definitely spoke to me a little bit, and the state I am in, in my own life. I'm curious as to why you chose to write 1-3 words per line.
