It is a good start. Some format problems such as paragraphing which makes it frustrating to read. Fantasy stories need a good deal of world building typically, I would recommend a bit more foreshadowing of the conflict the child will face. If they prophetizted child to save the world, they should know a hint of why this is a good idea. The conflict between the spiritual means this has to a major threat to take this unusual step and I could see it be thought as a dangerous. Took much power in one package idea. Of course, the first opponents might be his fellows humans, they are people who don't want the world to be saved for various reasons. The minions of Aequan would be the next one. The third one could be major threat.
