Uh, a little rusty? Girl, you wrote this like you've been writing poetry for 50 dang years. The emotion in this is so raw and the whole thing just flows like a friggin Shakespeare sonnet. What the heck.

I know this was probably an old contest entry but I came across this on a random read and enjoyed it! Definitely read it to the tune of the song lol. Great pacing and overall had that holiday feel ( that I probably needed right now!) *Smile*
