Jaiam, your poem allows the ready to feel the true agony each character is experiencing. I am sure many of us have felt the same agony over an opportunity we missed out on. I applaud your poem.

Your story is very interesting. It gives me pause to think about what nature would really say if it could speak to us. I think that the story line could have been a little more developed, but you did an excellent job in describing your protagonist. I would like to see how JD's abuse in his younger years encouraged him to be interested in sound. Or maybe how his terrible upbringing influenced his passion in this field. What made him become a scientist rather than a psychiatrist? I found your story very enjoyable!
