I have always been a huge fan of dark poetry and works. This piece uses wonderful imagery, especially toward the end. I like the vision of the person within the poem looking back on his/her life and, in my opinion, feeling for the most part satisfied with the way that they lived their life. To me, it seems that the persons dying thoughts are that of peace, and content. Also, I can relate to the person in the poem, because that sounds sort of like the story of my life. Therefore, I could really feel the poem, I was engulfed in the words, and actually, read it a second time before giving this review. I really see no issues with this piece, because in my opinion, poetry is free game, no TRUE "right/wrong" way to write it. Great job! I shall definately check out more of your work.
