I really enjoyed this poem. Right from the beginning it has you wondering just what is happening.
In the second verse, again you,re wondering what will happen to this person. How will they handle it? Then you sort of have a feeling of relief, because the person has found a way to cope. Invite someone else to do it.
Then AGAIN--- Whats going to happen?FINALLY we get a nice little chuckle for how the man prays.
I really enjoyed this poem. It expresses a variety of emotions. Nervousness, pressure,praying, compassion,tension, awkward silence,laughing, healingand thanks. All in ONE poem! Excellent writing. Keep up the good work.
