This is absolutely true. However, I wish more would understand that their scars can be healed and the wisdom taken from the healing will make them a much stronger person. Though as short and simple as this poem may be, it speaks volumes. Fantastic writing!
Certainly an intriguing story. The main reason why I rated four and a half stars is because of the pure and utter mysteries. Is this metaphoric? Is it literal? I wonder how this was inspired and that alone drives me into theories, and I like that. Making someone think deeper about what was in play when writing this, true force.
However, certain things you could have altered and they would not have changed the story, for example: "Then plenty fruits grew for her to eat." Plenty fruits or plenty of fruits, still wouldn't mess up the flow. :)
Do you see yourself as nature? Are you this overhauling force that is in love with protecting this newly found being? I wonder if he sees himself as well/good as he is protecting her and she still runs towards storms. I'll stop there, if you'd like to explain it, I don't want you to be cringing whilst reading what I reckon.
"Her limbs made fragile by the sea That was still thrashing distantly"-Forgive me for my controlling changing your word order, yet I absolutely love the vision on this. Very clear and I love the description of the sea distantly clashing into itself. Beautiful!
I must say, this is honest, it's down to earth, it's raw. I notice this writing is raw and that's why I enjoy it. You literally encapsulated your emotions and environment in a poetic manner I find admirable.
I do really enjoy the way in which you encapsulate your emotions! It's soft and the feelings are greatly articulated. I love how you come to the recognition that your soul is being unravelled.
I must say, I truly enjoy how it rolls off the tongue. It's smooth and soothing, grabs the reader's heart and gently caresses it. Very smooth writing indeed!
