This really reminds me of 'Steelheart' in The Reckoners. From the style, the rebellion angle, and even the characters. I like it though, and there's some good world-building going on. The only thing I would advise is maybe some more formatting to make it easier on the eyes, and there are some minor errors where I think you may have missed a few words. Three lines up from the bottom "What are we going to do?"
